HALF DAY SOWETO
8:00am – 13:00pm Full Day is 8:00am – 16:00pm

A visit to Soweto will give an insight of how South Africa has changed through the years. You will also have a chance to visit the home of Nelson Mandela. The Hector Pieterson Memorial Museum highlights the uprising of Soweto Students on June 16th 1976. more info...

LESEDI CULTURAL VILLAGE (Tour Dance and Meal)
11.30am & 16.30pm

Lesedi Cultural Village will give you an insight into the many tribes of South Africa as you visit the traditional village life of the African people. Joining in after your tour " Nyama Choma" is the great African feast where you'll sample the traditional dishes from around the African continent.

A 2 hour conducted surface tour of the mine consists of the following: 15 min video of underground mining, a display of rough diamonds in Diamond House, visit the mine shaft in operation, see the 32 ha big hole and much more. more info...

De Wildt offers you the opportunity to learn more about fascinating creatures such as the wild dog, cheetah and various species of owls and vultures. ELEPHANT SANCTUARY

The focus is on education through interaction, so you will not only learn a lot about elephants, but also get to touch, feel, feed, walk trunk-in-hand and even ride these magnificent animals.

CRADLE OF HUMANKIND & MAROPENG

Forty percent of all human ancestor fossil finds have been made here, including several of the world's most famous and important fossils - among them Mrs Ples (now believed to be Master Ples), dating back 2.5-million years, and Little Foot, an almost complete ape-man skeleton between 3 and 3.5-million years old (though a recent study puts it at just over 4-million years old).

THE LION PARK
8.30am - 5.30pm

The lion park has eight large African Carnivore species from Hyenas to Cheetahs and Jackals as well as seven herbivore species from Black Wildebeest to Giraffe.There are currently more than 80 lions at the Lion Park, including the white lions.The sub-adult lions and lion cubs are housed in the Cub World area where you can enter and actually play with lion cubs. more info...
